Wedding at The Reverie St Louis

| |

Ian & Jessie’s The Reverie STL wedding was one of a kind, the perfect blend of fun energy and traditional elegance just like them.

The day started with personalized notes between the couple and sentimental gifts exchanged with the parents. The small customized details elevated the event, including a personalized dress hanger to a custom ring dish. Family and bridal party gathered for a first look at the bride…but not Ian. He would see her coming down the aisle for the very first time.

At Ascension Catholic Church, the stage was set with beautiful white floral bouquets around the altar. Finally, it was time for the bride to enter. Many an eye was wet as she made her entrance, absolutely resplendent in an elegant gown, cathedral-length veil, and white bouquet wrapped with her grandmothers’ rosaries.

After the ceremony, guests gathered outside with ribbon streamers, creating a festive tunnel to celebrate the newlyweds. The excitement and joy was palpable.

Portraits followed, both at the church and outside the reception venue, The Reverie.

Wedding Reception at The Reverie STL

During cocktail hour, guests grazed from a massive charcuterie table while sipping drinks. The courtyard and foryer of The Reverie were filled with laughter, chatter, and smiles.

Before the reception, the couple and their family did a private reveal. All was perfect, the room shown to perfection.

Besides a stunning traditional wedding cake, the groom had his own private cake, much to his surprise. A dirt bike cake. He loved it.

Florals from Artistry Florist and Event Design graced tables of multiple shapes and varying place-setting designs laid out around the room. Classic black and white were set off only by green and pink velvet chairs. The room was a perfect mix of modern touches and traditional elegance.

At the grand entrance, Ian and Jessie broke into a spontaneous dance that was a definite crowd-pleaser. Their energy started high and never wavered. Live band Almost Famous kept the energy high, along with several surprises, including Truman the Tiger, and a birthday cake for Jessie’s brother (the band’s drummer).
